Following the terrible news filling screens in the past few days, I thought I needed to spread a little bit of positivity when I took the train into town today.With a pack of sticky notes and a pen, I write down some positive comments and compliments with my friend and we handed them out to strangers. It's always nerve-racking at the start, but you get used to it and you get more confid
ent with smiles all round as you pass them out.
Sure, I got rejected a few times. It' all part of the plan. The ladies started at me, then down at the sticky note and said no thank you. I cringed and walked away awkwardly, debating whether to carry on or not. Those moments aren't good!
I gave the sticky notes to cashiers, random strangers, shoppers and placed some on bookshelves and on clothing racks. I hope they did spread some positivity, and I hope this post inspires you to do something similar!
